So far I know its not mod related and not really the game install as everything else works from what I understand. I know that quest prevents you from saving your game after the dream sequence in which you drink the torpor but I don't know if that also corrupted the rest of the game. I don't even know if the quest "A Walking Nightmare" which is activated in Dawnstar is related. But I don't think that would of done anything. I did restore my pc to an earlier date (rolling it back) This was to fix an issue not related to skyrim. So this is quite recent that this has be a no go area. I added a mod that added a new shop in solitude so I was able to travel there before. I unloaded all mods, even moved the extra folders, meshes and textures,etc. Then I went back a few saves, before the purchase of the carriage. I though to myself that it could be a bug with the carriage so I decided to reload the game and just fast travel. I crashed immediately during the loading screen. I recently decided to go back after purchasing a carriage at my new house in falkreath (Hearthfire add on). I am not sure when this issue started though it is quite recent seeing that I was able to visit solitude a few days ago.
